QFORET

Born to Grow Korean Scalp and Hair Treatment

Born to Grow Korean Scalp and Hair Treatment

It pours clear as water. Rub it between wet hands and it turns into a soft white cream in a second or two. That is when you work it in, starting at the part line and drawing it down to the ends.

Soft, not coated

If your roots get oily fast but your ends stay dry, most conditioners put you in a bind. Use enough for the ends and the roots go flat by lunch. Skip the roots and the scalp never gets anything at all.

This one has no silicones, so nothing is left sitting on the hair. The comb moves without pulling, knots come apart instead of snapping, frizz lies flat, and fine hair keeps its volume.

It starts at the scalp

The nozzle is narrow on purpose. Most conditioners ask you to keep away from the scalp. This one was made to go there. Salicylic acid helps loosen the buildup a shampoo leaves behind, and menthol finishes cool and fresh.

DAHN-7

Inside is DAHN-7, the seven Korean herbs at the heart of every QFORET formula. Goji berry, Korean angelica, poria and four more. The same seven in the red shampoo. The shampoo tends the ground. This one feeds it.

How to use

  1. Shampoo, then squeeze out the excess water.
  2. Trace the nozzle along your part line.
  3. Work it from the scalp down to the ends. It turns creamy as you go.
  4. Leave it a minute. Rinse.

8.45 fl oz / 250 ml. Developed and made in Korea.

Why there is almost no water in this bottle

Most treatments are mostly water. Yours sat in a warehouse, rode on a truck, and takes up space in your shower, and most of what you paid for was water you already have. We left it out. What remains is a clear concentrate that becomes a cream the moment it meets your wet hands.

Why propylene glycol instead of water

Because water is the one ingredient you already own. Propylene glycol is a humectant, which means it holds moisture rather than simply carrying it. It is what lets a clear liquid become a cream when you add water, and what makes a small dose enough. This is a rinse-off product. It does not stay on your scalp.

There is alcohol in it. Is that drying?

It is there to keep the formula clear and thin in the bottle so it can change texture in your hand, and this is a rinse-off product. Nothing stays on your scalp.

Is it vegan?

No. It contains hydrolyzed silk. We would rather say so than round it off.
